1. Information We Collect

PitchDreams collects anonymous usage analytics — page views, feature clicks and session events — to understand how the tools are used. We do not collect personally identifiable information unless you volunteer it (for example, by emailing us or submitting club fee data).

To make those analytics useful, we record three things alongside each event:

• A first-party anonymous identifier. A random number stored in a cookie on your browser, shared across pitchdreams.com and its subdomains, and kept for 13 months. It lets us tell a returning visitor from a new one and follow a visit across our own sites. It is not linked to your name, email or any account, we cannot use it to identify you, and it is not shared with anyone.
• Approximate location. Our host derives a country, state or region, and city from your IP address. We store only those coarse values. We do not store your IP address itself, and we never record a precise location.
• Device and referral context. Whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer, roughly which browser and operating system, and which website linked you to us.

We never record what you type into a form. Where a form matters to us we record only that a step was completed — never its contents.

2. How We Use Your Data

Analytics data is used solely to understand how our tools are used and to improve the experience. We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone. There are no advertising networks, no social media trackers and no third-party analytics services anywhere in our products. Game save data is stored securely and is accessible only to the account holder.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We set two first-party cookies for analytics: a long-lived anonymous identifier (pd_aid, 13 months) and a short session marker (pd_sid, which resets after 30 minutes of inactivity). Both hold random numbers and nothing else.

We also use browser local storage for game saves, saved budgets and comparison lists, and display preferences — that data stays on your device and is never sent to us. Supabase authentication may set secure session cookies when you log in.

We do not use third-party tracking cookies, and nothing we set is used for advertising. Clearing your cookies resets the anonymous identifier, and you will simply be counted as a new visitor.

4. Third-Party Services

Our apps are hosted on Vercel and use Supabase for database and authentication services. These providers have their own privacy policies. We do not integrate with advertising networks or social media trackers.

5. Children's Privacy

PitchDreams is designed for soccer families. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Analytics events are kept for 15 months and then deleted automatically. Youth soccer runs on tryout seasons, and 15 months is what it takes to compare one season against the one before it; we keep nothing longer than that. Because the events carry no identifying information, we cannot link them back to an individual — including to look them up on request.

You can opt out of the anonymous identifier at any time by clearing cookies for pitchdreams.com or by using your browser's private mode. For account data — game saves and any details you have submitted to us — email us and we will delete it.
